FAQ’s

+ Do you all offer “day-of” services?

“Day-of” and “Month-of” services are 2 misnomers for when a wedding planner comes in and takes the plans that a couple has made for their wedding day and implements them.

The reason they are misnomers, is because in order for a wedding planner to do this successfully he/she often needs multiple meetings prior to the wedding day to first download these plans into their brains, assess them for missing details or minor planning errors, and then adjust them to maximize client experience.

In other words, the hand-off typically needs to start happening 30-90 days before the event takes place. For the past several years, in order to avoid this time commitment confusion, the wedding planning industry as a whole has moved towards the more representative name of “Wedding Day Management Services.”

At Artisan Rose Event Co, we use a series of three meetings to download our client’s plans, and we actually use the first meeting to first give the client our very own wedding planning guide, equipped with all the tools a client would need to plan a wedding, just as we would. That way, when we hit the 60 day mark, our consolidation of your plans is easy peasy!

+ How far in advance should I be booking a wedding planner?

No matter which package you intend to book with us, we recommend reaching out as soon as you’ve gotten engaged or booked your venue. Our books fill up quickly, and the sooner we start working together, the more value you will receive from our services!

+ Do you offer design/decor services only?

Our design services and decor inventory access come included with the Full Service Planning and Elopement or Vow Renewal Planning. They may also be added on at an extra cost to our Wedding Day Management Package as well, but are not currently offered as a standalone service.

+ Can I afford a wedding planner?

Short answer, is “Can you afford not* to have a wedding planner?” Long answer is this: our services are packaged in a way that no matter what your budget tier is, we can either lead you step by step through the process with Full Service Planning OR Elopement or Vow Renewal Planning, we can give you our entire planning process to lead yourself through, with access to us anytime you need help.

+ Do you work outside of Dallas/Fort Worth?

Yes! While the majority of our vendor relationship and knowledge stem from our events in Dallas and Fort Worth, we have and will travel to other major Texas cities including, but not limited to Austin, TX and Houston, TX.
